Medical disposable nonwoven products are essential for treatment and diagnosis, including medical protective clothing, infection control products, incontinence products, surgical gauze, ward equipment, operating room supplies, surgical shoe covers, Chinese medicine plasters, blood drug filtration, wound dressings, etc.

Medical nonwoven products include nonwoven products produced by various processes, such as spunbond, meltblown, SMS composite, electrospinning, spunlace and needle-punched. Among them, PP spunbond is often used to make sanitary cloth; SMS composite is used to make sanitary napkins and pads (hot air cloth used in medical and sanitary aspects is made of 100% PP/PE composite fiber-ES fiber); spunlace is mainly used to make personal care and surgical supplies that are strictly controlled in terms of environmental protection.
According to the end use, medical nonwovens can be divided into the following three categories.
1. Medical isolation materials
Medical isolation materials include surgical gowns, protective clothing, surgical gowns, masks, surgical covers, sterile drapes, patient gowns, bed sheets, bedspreads, medical device covering materials, etc. This type of product has the largest usage, and the technical indicators vary according to the specific application requirements.

2. Medical dressings
Medical dressings include gauze, bandages, tapes, wound patches, plasters, absorbent pad materials, etc. The usage of this type of product is relatively less than that of isolation products, but the technical indicators are higher.

3. Medical functional materials
Medical functional materials such as artificial blood vessels, artificial skin, artificial kidneys, artificial lungs, etc. This type of material is used in small quantities, but the technical content is very high and the price is high. At present, China imports such materials and products from Germany, the United States, Japan and other countries every year, with an import value of hundreds of millions of dollars.
